Mrs. Kelsey Lemens
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Kelsey Lemens and I am from Wisconsin, graduated from Edgewood College (a Catholic private college in Madison, WI) and have lived in California for 3 years. I have taught grades Pre-K, 2, 3, 4, and 8. What I most enjoy about teaching, is when students understand a new concept and become lifelong learners!
Dear young people, do not bury your talents, the gifts that God has given you! Do not be afraid to dream of great things!

Having fun creating and building with the STEM Bins!
STEM with the Eighth Graders! They created different paper helicopters and tested them to see which reached the ground fastest and fell onto the mark on the ground the most consistently.
For this project, students worked with the eighth graders to create a paper airplane. The challenge was to see if they could beat Mr. Blair's and have their airplane go the farthest! The students started with a basic paper airplane and changed different aspects of their airplane to make it go farther.
The students enjoyed their wonderful Halloween Party hosted by the gracious PTG!
The second graders worked hard on creating mountains out of paper. They wanted to find out where rivers start and end. They learned that rivers start in high places and end in oceans. The students had a lot of fun with this experiment!
The students had the wonderful opportunity to learn about San Diego’s own watershed!
How to stop a Landslide
The Second Graders celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday on Friday, March 2 by participating in a Dr. Seuss book tasting. The students read just the beginning of 8 different books and rated each one. Fun was had by all!
