Welcome to the 6th Grade class page.
My name is Noel Bishop, and this is my third year at St. Charles Catholic School. I truly have enjoyed my years here. In my previous experience, I have spent 25 years at another Catholic school in the diocese. I served as a junior high teacher for 8 years and the lead administrator for 17 years. I received my Bachelor's degree from United States International University in International Relations. While at USIU, I received a scholarship to play baseball. I received a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of San Diego. I have been married for over 30 years and have three sons, Zachariah (28), Jeremiah (21), and Isaiah (15). All of my children have attended Catholic schools throughout their educational careers.
As we come to the middle of this school year, I have seen a great deal of growth with our students. Our class has just finished the novel A Year Down Yonder. The students found it very humorous. I try to keep it a little more light-hearted for the 6th grade. We are looking forward to our World History Americas project and our Saints project in our religion class. We have enlivened our faith and continued to grow in our love for God. This group of students has truly brought a fire for education into the entire junior high. I feel blessed to be apart of this school community. May God continue to bless you throughout the entire school year and beyond.
